Our department is often referred to as a 'Paradise for Fishermen' with over 3,450 km of rivers and streams and 4,000 lakes and ponds!
FISHING will allow you to discover landscapes of character, a rich and varied natural heritage, and also to find serenity...The 4 Rivières territory features waterways and ponds classified in the second category (notably the Saône, the Salon, the Vannon, and the Gourgeonne), populated by barbel, bream, pike, zander, and even carp and catfish in the Saône.And if the fish haven't bitten, you will always have the option of tasting them at our local restaurateurs, who make them their specialty!
Your fishing permit! A required pass.
They are on sale at our tourist information offices, with proceeds benefiting the local fishing associations in the area: Champlitte, Dampierre-Beaujeu, and Roche-et-Raucourt.
