Via Francigena GR145
Walk in the Footsteps of Sigeric: Hike the Via Francigena!
In 990, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Sigeric, returned from Rome with his pallium. By recording his journey, he etched into history this famous 2000 km route that crosses Italy, Switzerland, and France to conclude in England. Today, more and more walkers are taking this path. The municipality of Champlitte is responsible for its development in France (a distance of 950 km)..
