Chateau de Ray-sur-Saône
This remarkable site became the property of the Haute-Saône département in 2015, following a donation by its last owner Diane Régina de Salverte. Standing on a rocky promontory, the Château de Ray-sur-Saône dominates the Saône valley. Built in the Middle Ages and destroyed in the wars of the 17th century, it was not until the 18th century that it took on the appearance it has today. The gardens bear witness to the various landscaping projects. The château can only be visited on guided tours.
