Once the home of powerful families, the château now houses the Musée Départemental des Arts et Traditions Populaires, founded in 1957 by Albert and Félicie Demard. Thanks to immersive reconstructions, the museum invites you on a journey back in time to the heart of local rural society in the 19th and 20th centuries. Discover how village life was punctuated by rituals, folk knowledge and the passing of street vendors.
