Tunnel de Savoyeux

Construction of the tunnel (or, more accurately, the vault) dates back to the 19th century and took 54 years. Today, this 643-metre-long underground canal leaves no traveller unmoved. Nearby, on terra firma, just a short distance from the Via Francigena, it is also the starting point for some wonderful walks in the heart of a generous and peaceful natural environment.
